Stop your scrolling! You don’t want to miss this amazing aviation themed wedding in an airport hanger! When this sweet bride reached out to us with a request to turn her families airport hanger into a picturesque wedding venue, we jumped at the opportunity to make her dreams a reality.
Heather + Josh, owners of Picture That Photobooth, were married last Spring, surrounded by loving friends + family in their family airport hanger. We had so much fun transforming this unique space into the perfect backdrop for this adventurous couple. It’s certainly not everyday that you get to use private planes as props! These two cuties loved to dance, be silly and have a blast… and that is exactly what we did.
We softened the beautifully big space using sheer draping, market lights + uplighting, and brought in rustic farmhouse tables from our friends at CE Rentals, to incorporate a warm industrial chic feel. The cutest custom airplane details were sprinkled throughout the weekend- a few of our favorite elements included the bottle opener favors placed at each setting, paper airplane place cards, and of course flying the bride in on a private plane! Navy & blush details brightened up the space, complimented with white hydrangeas + gorgeous garden roses…. and who doesn’t love a classic black & white dance floor!
